Ashley Carter has worked with Virginia’s Prescription Monitoring Program since 2018. Initially she focused primarily on developing the program’s analytic capacity and assumed the role as program director last year. Prior to joining the PMP, she worked as an at the Virginia Department of Health. Ashley earned her Master's in Public Health in Epidemiology from Virginia Commonwealth University and Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience from The College of William & Mary.

The Virginia Osteopathic Medical Association (VOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. VOMA designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1A CME credits and will report CME credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation.
