The audience will gain a better understanding of new drugs and treatments for diabetes and which testing is appropriate based on a patient's symptoms.
Learning Objectives:
1. Identify new diabetes treatment options
2. Assess the patients to appropriately initiate new treatment protocols
3. Implement new diabetes protocols with new medications
4. Identify potential side effects and contradictions of new diabetes medications
5. Further, be able to improve diabetes treatment
