This session will teach primary providers concepts, treatments, and new drugs to consider when managing and treating patients with high cholesterol. It will include new and up-to-date treatments to help lower, manage, and control cholesterol in patients.
Learning Objectives:
Review mechanism of action of agents.
Discuss the background of inflammation and its role in diseases.
Highlight guidelines and appropriate drugs to use and when.
