Insulin Utilization for the Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes


First presented at the OPSO Annual Primary Care CME Conference on September 28, 2019, we are pleased to offer this on demand CME program with Jay Shubrook, DO exploring the latest information in diabetes care.

 

Educational Objectives:

1. Discuss the how and when in starting basal insulin in T2DM
2. Explore ways to optimize insulin type and dose
3. Use a case based approach to demonstrate best practices in insulin use in type 2 diabetes

Dr. Shubrook discloses that he has no relevant financial relationships with any organization producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients relative to the content of his presentation.

The Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.
