Osteopathic Approach to the Pelvic Floor


 

Session Title: Osteopathic Approach to the Pelvic Floor (Lecture & Workshop)
Session Objectives:

1. Provide an overview of the pelvic floor anatomy.

2. Provide conceptual framework for relating the pelvic to the whole person osteopathic ally.

3. Teach or review several hands-on techniques for treating pelvic floor dysfunction.

 

The Maine Osteopathic Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.The Maine Osteopathic Association designates this program for a maximum of 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Margo Goodman, DO, CMMC Family Medicine Residency

Margo Goodman completed most of her education here in Maine.  She received her undergraduate degree from USM and her Medical school degree from UNECOM.  She currently works as a core faculty member at the CMMC Family medicine residency where she received her training both in Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal medicine.
