Assisting Patients in Vulnerable Populations to Find Their Health

At the end of the session the participants will be able to:

1. Identify challenges that vulnerable populations such as LGBTQ+ and underrepresented minorities in accessing care.
2. Develop strategies for patients in vulnerable populations to improve access to preventive care and better health outcomes.
3. Align with community resources to assist patients with finding their best health.

NYSOMS is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. NYSOMS designates this program for a maximum of 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.
