Addressing the Spirit Arm of the Mind, Body, Spirit Triad


Dr. Terzella addresses how physicians can incorporate a patients' spirituality into patient care. 

At the end of the session, the learner will:

  1. Understand 4 key principles of osteopathic medicine.
  2. Understand the 5 models of the osteopathic approach to patient care.
  3. Describe how the medical community incorporates patient spirituality into their health care
  4. Think about how to integrate your patients' spirituality into their health care.

NYSOMS is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. NYSOMS designates this program for a maximum of 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.
