New Developments in Malabsorption and Celiac Sprue


Learning objectives:

1. Dr. Pasternak will review how to identify, diagnose, and treat malabsorption.

2. Presents the phases of nutrient absorption and examples of different types of defects.

3. Reviews celiac disease, symptoms, treatment, and testing and non-celiac gluten sensitivity.

4. Shares case studies and best practices to treat malabsorption and maldigestion.

The New York State Osteopathic Medical Society (NYSOMS) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic medical education to physicians.
