Learning Objectives:

1-Review the diagnostic criteria for ADHD

2-Discuss medication options to address ADHD

3-Discuss nonpharmacologic strategies to manage ADHD symptoms

The program was planned, implemented and accredited by the Kansas Association of Osteopathic Medicine (KAOM).

The Kansas Association of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Ram Chettiar, DO, MS, (KAOM)
Dr. Chettiar received his DO degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and his master of science in cellular and integrative physiology from the University of Nebraska. He is board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and in psychiatry. He is licensed in Kansas and Missouri. Dr. Chettiar is a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Children’s Mercy Hospital. He has received numerous awards and honors including Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow of the Year, Department of Psychiatry, KUMC, the AACAP Educational Outreach Program Award, Gold Humanism Honor Society Inductee for excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion and dedication to service from UMKC to name a few. He is licensed to practice medicine in Kansas and Missouri.
