Description

Adult Vaccines of the Future was first presented at the Kansas Association of Osteopathic Medicine Annual Conference 2023. This program now made available on-demand follows Stanley Grogg, DO and his explanation of new vaccines for adults and how to incorporate them into practice.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Discuss some of the adults’ vaccines of the future.
  2. Understand the new mechanism of future vaccine development.
  3. Incorporate the new vaccines into a practice when available.

KAOM is an accredited sponsor by the American Osteopathic Association for osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. KAOM designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1-A CME credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the physician’s participation.

Stan Grogg, DO, known as Dr. Stan,  earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is Board Certified in pediatrics and is a professor emeritus at the Oklahoma State University - CHS. He has numerous honors, awards and publications.   He represents the American Osteopathic Association as their Liaison for the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). He is a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians (ACOP) and American Academy of Pediatrics.  He has a travel medicine certificate from the International Society of Travel Medicine. Dr. Stan’s hobby is traveling.   He has visited 184 countries and all continents. He is the Chair of a non-Profit, Power of a Nickel, and leads medical teams to serve the underserved to 9-10 countries annually except during COVID-19.
