In this dynamic presentation, Steven Runyan, D.O., Emergency Medicine an Consultative Psychiatrist at the University of Vermont Medical Center and assistant professor at the Robert Larner, MD College of Medicine at UVM will share his dept of knowledge of Anti-psychotics and best prescribing practices for primary care physicians. 

 

The Maine Osteopathic Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.The Maine Osteopathic Association designates this program for a maximum of 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

EM and Consultative Psychiatrist, Assistant Professor


Steve Runyan is an emergency and consultative psychiatrist at the University of Vermont Medical Center and an assistant professor of psychiatry at the Robert Larner, MD College of Medicine at UVM.  He completed his residency in general psychiatry there in 2013, and is a 2009 graduate of UNECOM.  He teaches basic psychopharmacology at the medical school and within the psychiatry residency program.
