Autumn Ambroday, D.O. Related Seminars and Products


Dr. Autumn Ambroday is an enrolled member of the Leech Lake Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Cornell University in New York and spent time as a family advocate for an anti-poverty agency before obtaining a degree in Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. Dr. Ambroday completed her psychiatric residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson where she was chief resident her final year. She is Board Certified by the Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and currently serves as a psychiatrist for White Earth Nation where she designed policy and implemented the tele-mental health program for the reservation. Dr. Ambroday also serves as White Earth’s Maternal Mitigation and Outreach Service Physician, where she utilizes a culture-based approach to treat pregnant and post-partum women struggling with substance use disorders. In addition to her clinic and outreach work, Dr. Ambroday treats adolescents and women who have been the victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking and performs tele-psychiatric consultations in emergency rooms and inpatient hospital units in Arizona and Oregon. Dr. Ambroday has a special interest in dual diagnosis patients, trauma, women’s mental health and substance use disorders. She is a candidate to sit for the Addiction Medicine Board Exam this fall.
