Dr. Cruz grew up in a large family, 9th of 10 children, lived in various places, but majority of my formative years in a rural small town in the Northern California high desert. I skipped around a few community colleges and eventually finished my Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Western Governors University. I completely changed careers and completed my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. I completed my Family Medicine & OMT residency at The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education, associated with El Rio Community Health Center in Tucson, AZ.

Dr. Cruz is married to her husband of 19 years and we have 4 children, ages 17, 14, 11, and 7. I enjoy hobbies such as cooking, gardening, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors with my family. I am involved in my church as much as possible since the COVID-19 pandemic has changed all group gatherings. I am currently a member of the US Army Reserve Medical Corps and am employed as a staff physician with Concentra, Phoenix, AZ. Most of my current work involves patients with work injuries and work assessments.
