1)  Understand the DSM V description of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and how “severity” is categorized by DSM V.

2)  Understand the rising prevalence and support that the increase is real.

3)  Understand the impact on the healthcare system that ASD is going to have.

4)  Understand the concepts of care for patients, both adult and pediatric, on the spectrum.

The Indiana Osteopathic Association (IOA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.  The IOA designates this program for a maximum of 1.00 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

It is the policy of the IOA that any physician dissatisfied with the CME program will be issued a refund upon request, and no CME credits will be reported to the AOA.  Complaints on Evaluation Forms also are taken into consideration when planning future CME programs and may lead to changes in the format or content.
