  1. Differential diagnosis and algorithm for initial workup for cognitive decline.
  2. Time table for observation and management for PCP and when to refer to a neurologist.
  3. Overview of prevalence, impact, and management of neurodegenerative conditions.

Keith M. Kohout, D.O., MS is a graduate of Touro University in California.  He completed his internal medicine internship and neurology residency at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.  He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Kohout practices at Ruan Neurology Clinic at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
