Learning Objectives:

1-Describe channelopathies and their role in heart disease

2-Describe treatments for heart disease which can lead to the most common immediate cause of death (SCD)

3-Describe heart failure treatments in use

The program was planned, implemented and accredited by the Kansas Association of Osteopathic Medicine (KAOM).

The Kansas Association of Osteopathic Medicine is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity. 

Grievance Policy:

KAOM wants to be made aware of the grievance in order to resolve it to your satisfaction. All grievances will receive an initial response in writing within 30 days of receipt. Lindsey E. Malloy-Walton, DO, MPH, FAAP, (KAOM)
Dr. Malloy-Walton received her DO degree from the Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has completed fellowships at the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital in Pediatric Cardiology and at Stanford University Medical Center in Clinical Pediatric Electrophysiology. She received her master’s in public health from Dartmouth Medical School Center for Evaluative Clinical Services. Dr. Malloy-Walton serves as the medical director for the inpatient cardiology blue team and as medical director of the exercise physiology lab at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. She is board certified in pediatric cardiology and in pediatrics.
