Jennifer Cortes is a dual board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She attended medical school at the University of Illinois and completed a Med-Peds residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Following residency, she spent two years at the CDC in Atlanta as an Epidemic Intelligence Officer prior to relocating to Tuba City on the Navajo Reservation to return to clinical medicine. After 5 years of practice in Tuba City, she settled in Flagstaff, Arizona where she currently works as a Med-Peds Hospitalist, and since March 2020, as the Northern Arizona Healthcare COVID Response Provider Lead.
