Stroke is a leading cause of disability in the U.S. Dr. Alphonse Ambrosia describes a cardiologist’s perspective on risks and causes of stroke.

Learning Objectives:

  • Differentiate the most common causes of “cryptogenic”stroke
  • Interpret the work-up for cardiovascular causes for stroke
  • Distinguish the components of the CHADS2Vasc score and the associated stroke risk with AF
