Description

Objectives:


1. Identify common upper extremity fractures.

2. Discuss acute treatment options for common upper extremity fractures.

3. Explore nonoperative treatment options for upper extremity fractures.

 

The Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Dr. Rierson graduated from Des Moines University in 2008 and completed his orthopaedic residency at Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan in 2013. He is a native of Spencer, Iowa and joined NWIA Bone Joint and Sports Surgeons in 2013.  He is a general orthopedist with a special interest in robotic assisted partial and total joint replacements.
