Presentation Objectives:
1. Explain the causes of leg ulcers. 2. Discuss the different types of skin cancers. 3. Discuss management of skin cancers. 

 

The Maine Osteopathic Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.The Maine Osteopathic Association designates this program for a maximum of 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Dr. Drew has practiced medical and surgical dermatology at the Smith Clinic Department of Dermatology in Marion, OH, since 1992. He is on the faculty of Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OUHCOM) in Athens, OH, and adjunct faculty at Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, OH. Dr. Drew received his medical degree with honors from A. T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSUKCOM) in Kirksville, MO. He completed an internship at Normandy Hospitals in St. Louis, MO, a family practice residency at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (ROWANSOM) in Stratford, NJ, and a residency in dermatology at Deaconess Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Drew is board certified in dermatology and family medicine. He is an author of several peer-reviewed articles in dermatology and lectures nationally and internationally on topics in dermatology. Dr. Drew was awarded the A.T. Still University Distinguished Service Award in 2015 and the Ohio State University Outstanding Clinical Teaching Award in 2006. He volunteers with overseas dermatology outreach missions with Power of a Nickel and Passion to Heal. He serves as the Director of Dermatology Services for Power of a Nickel.
