Marc A. Vengrove, DO, FACP, “Evaluation of Agents for Treatment of Diabetes,” is chief of the endocrinology and metabolism division at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network and medical director of the Helwig Diabetes Center, both in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology and metabolism, he is also a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. Dr. Vengrove is a graduate of Muhlenberg College in Allentown, and a 1982 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia, an internal medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Stratford, and an endocrinology and metabolism fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. A fellow of the American College of Physicians, he is a member of the POMA, the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Internists, the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, the American Diabetes Association and the National Lipid Association.
