Description

Goals & Objectives:

  • Identify the at-risk patient population for Hepatitis C.
  • Detail a plan for screening a population at risk and initial management strategies for patients found to be positive for HCV.

The Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of 0.75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Melvin Saltzman Related Seminars and Products


Melvin Saltzman, DO, FACOI is a practicing gastroenterologist with Multi-Care Medical, PC in Bridgeton, Missouri.  Dr. Saltzman graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, then completed an internal medicine residency at Zieger-Botsford Osteopathic Hospitals.  He then completed a clinical fellowship in gastroenterology at Yale University School of Medicine.  Dr. Saltzman is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and also in Gastroenterology.  He discloses that he has no actual or potential conflict of interest in relation to this program or presentation.
