As a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine specializing in Occupational Medicine, Dr. Toth's past work experience in the trades and industry has strengthened his ability to deliver patient-centered care. In addition to applying expert knowledge in occupational medicine, his professional background includes primary care, preventative and community based practices as well as administrative services.

Since graduating in 1985 from Des Moines University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Thoth's medical skills have been enriched through foreign and domestic service. His work aboard the M/V Caribbean Mercy Hospital Ship as the Chief Medical Officer and later in health care administration, required  supervision and facilitation of health care programs for the organization’s global operations. He later served as an administrator during the early phase of construction and development of the Dodoma Christian Medical Center located in the Republic of Tanzania. In the United States I served as Department Chair in the Mayo Clinic Health System’s Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care Clinic, and as Department Chair for Olmsted Medical Center’s Occupational Medicine Department. Additionally, he has held consultative and administrative positions for several other medical organizations.
