Review definitions of menopause • Discuss/review postmenopausal symptoms /physical changes and management options.

Discuss sexual dysfunction in menopausal women • Discuss vulvovaginal atrophy • Discuss osteoporosis and management options • Discuss mental health and menopause • Review the WHI study and Long term follow up • Discussion of the types and uses of estrogen replacement(ERT) and hormone replacement therapy (HRT)

Renee B. Alexis, MD, MBA, MPH, FACOG is an obstetrician-gynecologist in Davie, Florida and is affiliated with Broward Health Medical Center. She received her medical degree from University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her OBGYN residency at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami Florida. Dr. Alexis has been in practice for more than 20 years. She is one of 63 doctors at Broward Health Medical Center who specialize in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Alexis is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). She is an Associate Professor and the chair of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at NSU-KPCOM.
