Description

This lecture will discuss which imaging modalities to use and which images to order to evaluate musculoskeletal complaints.

Learning Objectives:
1. Review common modalities of imaging used in musculoskeletal evaluation and treatment
2. Discuss common XR images ordered for shoulder, hip, knee, and wrist
3. Discuss the basics when an MRI should be considered
4. Review MSK ultrasound basics and when it is best applied
5. Discuss the use of CT scans

Grievance Policy:

Kelsey Hoffman DO is a Family Medicine physician practicing Sports Medicine at Ortho Montana, in Billings, Montana, as well as a faculty member for the Montana Family Medicine Residency. Dr. Hoffman received her medical degree from Midwestern University - Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Chicago, Illinois, and completed her residency and a Sports Medicine fellowship at the Montana Family Medicine Residency at Riverstone Health in Billings, Montana. Her main interests are Non-operative Orthopedic and Medical Sports Medicine.
