Description

Painful or irregular periods can have causes that aren't due to underlying disease.  Dr. B. J. Ho reviews case studies and current treatment therapies for women's reproductive health.

Objectives:

  • Share women’s health screening through all life stages

  • Evaluate and treat common bleeding/menstrual problems

  • Outline how to safely and confidently manage hormone replacement

B.J. Ho, DO, FACOG is a board-certified OB/GYN who graduated from the Banner Good Samaritan OB/GYN Residency Program in Central Phoenix after received his osteopathic medical degree from Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale. Dr. Ho earned the Phoenix Perinatal Associates’ Perinatal Award in 2009 in recognition of excellent work and achievement in high-risk obstetric care. In medical practice, he has found a niche in high-risk obstetrics, minimally-invasive robotic surgery, infertility, and hormone replacement. He is proud to be one of the very first providers in the Southwest Valley to send hysterectomy patients home the same day, instead of needing to stay overnight at the hospital. In addition, he is starting to provide bioidentical pellet hormone replacement as an alternative to conventional pharmaceutical treatments for those suffering from menopausal and age-related hormonal changes. He enjoys time with family, soccer and athletics, yoga, cooking, and nutrition.
