Mark Sherwood, ND, CI-CPT is a Naturopathic Doctor who is trained in functional medicine, AMMG, Primal blueprint, nutrigenetics, nutrigenomics, and lifestyle adjustment. He is an expert teacher and educator. Dr. Mark is an Oklahoma state and regional bodybuilding champion.  He is also a 24-year retired veteran of the Tulsa Police Department, where he logged a decade of courageous service on the department’s SWAT Team. Michele L. Neil-Sherwood, DO, FACOI, has had a successful private practice since 2002. She and her husband, Dr. Mark, are co-CEO’s of the Functional Medical Institute in Tulsa, OK, which is whole-person centered and outcome based looking at each individuals’ unique needs. The aim is to obtain the highest level of function and wellness, then maintain it lifelong through a multi-disciplinary collaborative approach. Dr. Michele is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Sports Medicine. She has also completed numerous functional medicine fellowships. Further, she specializes in nutrition, supplementation, exercise prescription, stress management, and hormone balance.
