Description

This 55 min virtual presentation will review some of the population significance and occurrence of MS Cephalgia with an emphasis on reviewing the significant functional anatomic and neurologic associations. An effort will be made to emphasize the relational aspects of the intracranial, interspinal, and larger corporal integrative impacts on the common but complex complaint of cephalgia. Suggestive treatment approaches will be presented and/or reviewed.

Dr. R. Mitchell Hiserote D.O., is a California native living in the North Bay Area and has served as Associate Professor and Chair of the OMM Department at the Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine - Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine Department. He is an alumnus of Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine of Pomona CA (class of 1998) where he additionally completed an Undergraduate Teaching Fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. His postgraduate training was completed at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, CA. He currently maintains board certification in Neuromusculoskeletal & Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine from the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromuscular Medicine, Certification of Proficiency from the Osteopathic Cranial Academy and is a Costin scholar from the Midwestern University – Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr Hiserote is currently siting on the Osteopathic Cranial Academy and Osteopathic Center for Children nonprofit boards. His clinical sites of traditional Osteopathic private practices have included Fresno, San Diego, Santa Cruz, and Vallejo, CA. and currently teaches and maintains a traditional Osteopathic practice in Sebastopol, CA.
