Description

This lecture will define and discuss telemedicine and telehealth and its impact on outreach and education for rural communities, as well as some of the advantages and disadvantages of telemedicine.

Learning Objectives:
1. Introductions: Our Providers and Team
2. Define and discuss what Telemedicine and Telehealth are and how they impact outreach and education for rural communities.
3. Explain how Telemedicine is utilized within Billings Clinic, focusing on would care specifically.
4. Describe the advantages/disadvantages inherent in Telemedicine.

Accreditation Statement:
The Montana Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 2-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Grievance Policy:
All grievances should be in writing and should specify the nature of the grievance.  Initially, all grievances should be directed to MOMA Executive Director, who will then forward said grievance to the Education & Convention Committee.  All grievances will receive an initial response in writing within 30 days of receipt.  If the participant does not receive a satisfactory response, then they can then submit a complaint in writing to the Bureau of Osteopathic Education of the AOA at 142 East Ontario Street, Chicago, IL 60611.
