Description

Vein disease is much more than just varicose veins, spider veins, or blood clots. It is a chronic, progressive disease that we have all seen many times throughout our careers, but missed the diagnosis. Don’t worry, it’s not your fault. We weren’t taught about this disease that is 5x more common than PAD and even better, it’s treatable. Come learn how to be the hero to your patients suffering from venous insufficiency.

Objectives:

  1. Gain understanding of venous insufficiency as a medical disease: pathophysiology, etiology, prevalence and disease progression
  2. Understand how to recognize venous disease in our daily practice and how it can be accurately diagnosed and ultimately treated
  3. Medical professionals leave with knowledge they can implement to immediately be a champion and hero to help change the lives of their patients suffering from vein disease
