Learning Objectives:

At the end of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  • Identify cutaneous features of basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma skin cancers
  • Understand the treatment and management of patients with non-melanoma and melanoma skin cancers
  • Understand Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery and what patients are candidates for the procedure

Dr. Michael Centilli is a board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. He attended medical school at Michigan State University, where he was recognized as one of four finalists for the outstanding graduating senior award. After medical school, he completed residency training at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where he served as chief resident. In 2021, Dr. Centilli started his own practice, Coastal Dermatology Institute, LLC, located in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Dr. Centilli treats all conditions associated with the skin, hair, and nails, with a specific interest in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. He has devoted many years building expertise in Mohs surgery and skin cancer treatment, performing on average 1,500 Mohs surgery cases each year.

Dr. Centilli provides cutting-edge care for general and cosmetic dermatology and is proficient in the injection of Botox and fillers used to soften the effects of aging.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, going to the beach (with sunscreen of course), exercising and playing sports with his three beautiful children.
