Description

Needs Assessment: “When it comes to life the critical thing is whether you take things for granted or take them with gratitude.”   - G.K. Chesterton

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed things. Nearly all aspects of our lives have been affected. Still, life goes on and how we care for that life continues as DOs learn to change and adapt. Providing care for patients endures whether it is in person or virtually. Evidence-based medicine is important but so is compassionate care, no matter the field of medicine or how that care is delivered.

Learning Objective: At the completion of this seminar, attendees will receive a review of different disease processes involving several medical fields and will have a better understanding of these disease processes as well as their treatments whether provided in-person or virtually.

Grievance Policy
Program grievances will be presented to the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association Board of Trustees and dealt with appropriately. If this action did not resolve the problem to satisfaction, the person with the grievance will be directed to the American Osteopathic Association’s Division of Continuing Medical Education.

Accreditation
The OOA is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.
