My name is Alan Boyd, I have lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life. I attended High School in Seattle; I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western Washington University. I am a current third year medical student at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences College of Medicine. I am excited to present this research on stress in first year medical students. I am particularly interested in this topic because Family Medicine and Preventative Medicine.  I see this research as a way to potentially counter act some of the unhealthy aspects of medical school training. I want to help protect our future physicians from needless stress and reduce the risk of future burnout. I want to keep learning more about this subject throughout my career.
