Angela Jensen

Older Adult Behavioral Health Specialist

ANGELA JENSEN, LCSW
Older Adult Behavioral Health Specialist
Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson counties

Angela Jensen is a Texas transplant, with 30 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker.  Twenty-five of those years have been spent in Bend, Oregon, where she held a private practice for 10 years.  Her passion for seniors led her to work for 13 years in a nonprofit hospice expanding bereavement services and community outreach to older adults, and spend the last three years with the Older Adult Behavioral Health Initiative providing complex case consultations and developing regional programming to benefit older adults.

Angela’s strong background in mental health, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the Central Oregon community, makes her especially adept in networking and linking resources.  She also facilitates multidiscipline teams to address the needs of high-risk and vulnerable older adults throughout the region.

A “foodie” at heart, her love of cooking has led her to Tuscany and Italian designed kitchens.  Currently, Angela lives on acreage and shares living space with one pushy cat, “Action Jackson”, and four Nigerian dwarf goats who keep her endlessly entertained.
