Bradley A Jelen, DO, DO


Dr. Jelen was born and raised in St. Paul, MN.  He became interested in science and medicine while working in his father’s pharmacy growing up in Minnesota. Dr. Jelen obtained his undergraduate degree in general science at Loras College in Dubuque, IA, his master’s degree in human anatomy from Wright State University in Dayton, OH, and his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OUHCOM) in Athens, OH.   Prior to medical school, Dr. Jelen worked as a surgical technician and program director for the musculoskeletal allograft program at the Red Cross Tissue Bank in St. Paul, MN.  He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, OH, and his orthopedic trauma fellowship at the IU Health in Indianapolis.  He joined OrthoIndy in 2001.  Dr. Jelen’s primary interests include adult and pediatric fracture care, general orthopedics and hip preservation surgery.
