BIO: Carol A. Morreale, PharmD, MPH, MS, BCGP is Director of Interprofessional Education and Public Health/Associate Professor at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Morreale received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Temple University School of Pharmacy and completed two years of residency training at Medical College of Virginia specializing in adult critical care. In addition, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition science from Rutgers University and received her Master’s in Public Health at the University of Southern Mississippi, her Master of Science in Population Health Management from the John D. Bower School of Population Health at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, and is board certified in geriatrics. She is a member of multiple professional societies, has presented at a number of professional meetings, and is currently on the Pharmacy Educators & Research Council of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists. Dr. Morreale’s current research interest in geriatrics includes the impact of medical education in elder abuse on physician recognition and response to abuse and neglect. She is also looking at student attitudes toward the development of interprofessional education and experiential learning in the osteopathic curriculum
