Carrie Lembach, DO


Carrie Lembach, DO enrolled in the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio where she completed her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. She then went on to a Preliminary Medicine Transitional Year Internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. Eager to further her education, Dr. Lembach’s next step was the completion of her ophthalmology residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Corneal External Disease at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She is board certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology. 

Her clinical areas of interest are refractive cataract surgery, dry eye disease, corneal disorders, keratoconus, Fuchs’ Dystrophy, and refractive surgery. After a decade in practice, she has continued her mission of education for her patients, medical students, residents, and fellows from both the Ohio State University and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to working at Arena Eye Surgeons, she is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at the Ohio State University. She also serves as clinical faculty for both Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Ohio Dominican Physician Assistant Program. She has been an invited speaker at the American Academy of Ophthalmology annual meetings, as well as multiple local meetings.
