Christine Vidouria, DO

Dr. Christine Vidouria graduated high school from Tom C. Clark here in San Antonio and went to study microbiology at the University of Texas at El Paso on a Division I volleyball scholarship. She received her medical training at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center at Fort Worth-Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Vidouria returned to San Antonio to complete her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During her training she learned that she could incorporate nerve blocks and joint injections with osteopathic manipulative treatments to facilitate patient’s function and reduce pain. She also completed her fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management at UTHSCSA. Dr. Vidouria has been in a private solo-practice for 15 years and has always wanted to teach medical students.

The opportunity presented itself in the establishment of the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine and she joined as part-time faculty teaching Development of Osteopathic Clinical Skills in 2017. Dr. Vidouria enjoys interacting and shaping the future of osteopathic medicine and feels confident that our curriculum facilitates life-long critical thinkers as well as compassionate physicians.
