  • Examining the influence of the expression of heat shock proteins on the susceptibility to infection of Biomphalaria Sudanica by Schistasoma mansoni

 

     Snail Attractant research

  • Testing the effects of various attractants on Biomphalaria glabrata behavior

 

     UCL tear research

  • Examining the reliability of X-rays in the diagnosing of UCL tears of the thumb
  • Has been accepted by the IRB and is in the beginning stages

 

Academic Associate Program                                                                                                    2013-2014

Primary Children’s Hospital | Salt Lake City, Utah                                                                                                                            

  • Identified and enrolled participants through informed consent into various research projects
  • Assisted researches by taking samples, providing interviews and giving surveys
  • Participated in the Physician extender program.  This entailed assisting E.R. physicians with providing communication and comfort to patients as they treated patients from room to room.
