Craig Frankil, DO, FACC


Craig A. Frankil, DO, FACC, is a member of the education committee for POMA’s 115th Annual Clinical Assembly and Scientific Seminar. He is director of peripheral and endovascular services at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and medical director of Penn Cardiology at Mayfair with the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia. Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology; he is also a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, University Park, and a 1987 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Frankil completed an internal medicine residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology fellowships at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. A fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Frankil is a member of POMA, the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Frankil, faculty for this educational event, was a consultant on the Speaker’s Bureau, and Advisory Committee for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, LP and Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.; relationships ended January 2022. All relevant financial relationships listed have been mitigated.
