Daniel Galante, DO, FACS
Daniel J. Galante, DO, FACS, is a colon and rectal surgeon with the AdventHealth Medical Group. He graduated from the inaugural class of the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City, and then completed his residency in General Surgery at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. During his residency he completed a year of clinical research at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his Colon and Rectal Surgery fellowship at the St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital - Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai fellowship program in New York City. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. In his practice, Dr. Galante treats all diseases of the colon, rectum and anus, from cancer and inflammatory bowel disease to abscesses, hemorrhoids and fistulas. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is the assistant program director for the AdventHealth colon and rectal surgery fellowship program, and is an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Central Florida.
