Daniel J. Parenti, DO, FCCP, FACOI, “Vaping-induced Lung Disease,” and education program co-vice chair of POMA’s 112th Annual Clinical Assembly and Scientific Seminar, is professor and chair of internal medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and program director of the internal medicine residency program at PCOM. Board certified in internal medicine, critical care medicine and pulmonary diseases, he is a graduate of LaSalle College in Philadelphia, and a 1987 graduate of PCOM. He completed an internship at Metropolitan Hospital — Central Division, Philadelphia, and internal medicine residencies at Metropolitan Hospital and Kennedy Memorial Hospitals in Stratford, New Jersey. He also completed fellowships in critical care and pulmonary medicine at Kennedy Memorial Hospitals. A fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American College of Osteopathic Internists, Dr. Parenti is a member of POMA and the American Osteopathic Association.
