David Walls

David Walls has served as the Executive Director for the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon since 2007. In this role, he has focused on increasing physician involvement in the organization, providing greater value and new programs for members, ensuring financial stability, developing effective and high quality continuing medical education opportunities, increasing public awareness of the osteopathic profession, and fostering a strong osteopathic community.

Through collaboration with physician leaders and strategic partners, David has championed new outreach programs for osteopathic physicians, residents, and the general public, including


State-wide town hall meetings, providing osteopathic physicians the opportunity to directly connect with their membership organization
The “Mini-Medical School” outreach program for local grade schools, introducing them to the osteopathic profession and teaching them about the importance of prevention
The OPSO, “DO Day in Salem”, generating greater awareness of the osteopathic profession with Oregon’s legislative leaders and instilling the importance of grassroots advocacy for members of the osteopathic profession.

David also serves as the Executive Director for the Oregon Osteopathic Foundation and is the managing member of the Gary Walls Memorial Meet of Champions.
