Edward J. Cartwright, MA, “Institutional Diversion,” is a controlled substance compliance investigator with Value Drug Company, where he investigates the dispensing and purchasing patterns of controlled substances at retail pharmacies. Prior to this, he served as associate director of corporate security for Purdue Pharma, LP, where he trained and educated law enforcement and healthcare professionals through the United States about prescription drug crimes and trends. He was also a narcotics agent for 17 years at the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Mr. Cartwright is a board member of the National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators (NADDI) and past president of the NADDI Pennsylvania chapter.
