Heather Volkman, DO
Dr. Heather Volkman is a board-certified dermatologist in both general and pediatric dermatology with the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology. Her special interests are in autoimmune diseases, geno-dermatoses, and inflammatory dermatoses. Dr. Volkman is a consultant for Cook Children’s Medical Center and Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital and is also a reviewer for The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Volkman’s undergraduate degree is from Emory University, and she later attended medical school at UNTHSC-TCOM. Her internship and residency were at Case Western Reserve University-Case Medical Center. She is married and a mother to four children and enjoys jogging, kayaking, and gardening.
