Jane Hecker-Cain, M.Ed

Jane Hecker-Cain has enjoyed a long career working with deaf people in a variety of capacities across America.  She has been a Teacher of the Deaf in Kentucky, a freelance interpreter in Illinois, the Librarian for the Deaf in New Jersey, an Administrator at Maine’s Governor Baxter School for the Deaf and the Coordinator of an Interpreter Education Program on Long Island, New York.  She now interprets Video Relay calls full-time from her virus-free basement.  Jane has been married to Kevin for 43 years.  They raised three daughters and are now proud grandparents of four.
