Jim Young, DO


Born in Buffalo, NY.  Attended New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduated 1983.  Completed a Psychiatry Residency at Bethesda Naval Hospital in 1987.  Certified as diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology 1989.  Served active duty in US Navy for five years, followed by twelve years in the Naval Reserve.  Worked at Napa State Hospital since 1992, currently Assistant Medical Director.  Affiliated with Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine since 1997, lectures in Behavioral Health as an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor.
