Joel Dickerman, DO


Dr. Dickerman received his DO degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He holds certificates of Added Qualifications in Geriatrics, Sports Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Care and is LEAN Black Belt certified. Dr. Dickerman became the Dean and Chief Academic Officer for the Kansas Health Science Center in November 2019. Prior to that he served as Vice President for Assessment Services with the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME), Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs, Rocky Vista University, Regional Director of Primary Care for Rocky Vista University. His work experience includes serving as a hospice physician, program director for the St. Mary Corwin Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency and was in private practice. His professional appointments include serving on the ACCME Committee for Review and Recognition, Chair, Department of Family Medicine – NBOME, on the Colorado Society of Osteopathic Medicine Board of Trustees.
