Kimble Public Affairs

Kim Ross is a public affairs consultant and partially rehabilitated lobbyist. In his previous incarnation he coordinated for 16 years the political, legislative, and regulatory matters for the 36,000 member Texas Medical Association as their Vice President for Public Policy and Director of Public Affairs. In 2003 Mr. Ross formed Kimble Public Affairs in Austin, Texas, which specializes in healthcare policy and political strategy, with an emphasis on physicians’ rights. He is retained by a number of state medical and national healthcare industry trade and professional organizations as well several national health care industry corporations. Although a fifth generation Texan and Dallas native, Mr. Ross was educated in Oklahoma, which he insists is not an oxymoron. He received his BS in Journalism at Oklahoma State University and an MA in policy analysis as a research fellow at Tulsa University.
