Lisa A. Witherite-Rieg, DO, FACOFP
Lisa A. Witherite-Rieg, DO, FACOFP, is moderator of Thursday afternoon’s making medicine easier session and a member of the education committee for POMA’s 112th Annual Clinical Assembly and Scientific Seminar. Director of medical education and director of the family medicine residency program for Penn Highlands Healthcare in DuBois, Pennsylvania, she is board certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine. Dr. Witherite-Rieg is a graduate of Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania, and a 1992 graduate of the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an internship at the former Youngstown (Ohio) Osteopathic Hospital and a family medicine residency at Clarion (Pa.) Osteopathic Community Hospital, now Clarion Hospital. A board member of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association (POMA) and the POMA Foundation, she is chair of POMA District 12 and a member of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Family Physicians Society, the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
